Manchester-born agile shot stopper
Life-long City fan Daniel Grimshaw has been training with the club since he was a youngster and developed through the Academy age groups from the age of nine.
The Manchester-born goalkeeper has excellent distribution and handling, and has impressed on foreign shores in a City shirt, including tournaments in Singapore and Qatar.
His talent and drive convinced Academy staff he was worthy of a two-year scholarship with City during which he competed for the number one role in the U18s with Kjetil Haug.
Grimshaw helped City to the U18 Premier League title and FA Youth Cup final in 2015/16.
He helped the Blues to the UEFA Youth League semi-finals for the first time with outstanding performances against Inter Milan and Liverpool and was promoted to the senior squad in 2017/18,
Daniel penned a new three-year extension in June 2018.
