Our aims: Using football to promote increased community integration and combat negative stereotypes.
Our inclusion programmes provide over 1,000 hours of free disability football and over 3,000 hours of free inclusive football sessions for our community every year. Participants range from 2 to 84 years old with a female participation of 37%.
Programmes include: our award winning ‘One City Disability’; ‘Play the Game’, which offers holiday soccer schools, evening football, women and girls football and walking football; and one of our longest standing initiatives -‘Kicks’ - which delivers community football for 12-19 year olds during peak times of anti-social behavior.
CITC also provide a ‘School Sports’ programme delivering a whole person offer encompassing physical activity, breakfast/ lunchtime/ after school clubs and Teacher CPD for primary schools across Manchester.
