Strong and powerful midfielder
An England youth international, Sadou Diallo became familiar with U18s football while still a schoolboy.
His eight appearances at U18 level in the 2014/15 were the most for an underage player, and he showed he isn’t afraid of the big occasion – his first start at this level came away against local rivals Manchester United.
A strong and powerful midfielder, Sadou is composed on the ball, possesses an excellent passing range, and is always eager to dictate play from the central areas.
After moving to England from Guinea with his Mum, he was playing for Rotherham when City identified his promising talent and he has been educated at the City Academy since the age of 13. He was offered a scholarship in July 2015.
He made 14 appearances for the EDS last season and was part of the U18s FA Youth Cup campaign, playing at centre-half in both legs of the final as the young Blues lost to Chelsea.
Sadou has continued to be an important member of Simon Davies squad for the 2017/18 season.
